I think m...I think I block that stuff from memory. I think maybe a bird and a chipmunk.<br />My favorite almost roadkill story was up in Northern MN. We were headed back to the campground two-tone 1979 Chevy Impala when we spotted a skunk mama on the side of the road with her 4 babies still in the middle. Somehow my dad maneuvered the car so that our headlights were on the babies in the hopes that any car that passed before they crossed would spot them.<br />For my dad this quickly turned from "let's enjoy a cute family of God's stinkiest creation moment" to "mass murder, survival of the fittest life moment."<br />Thankfully the oncoming car missed the baby skunks, even though the driver didn't see them. As the car passed it left behind freaked out skunk babies with their hair sticking straight up and the mom ushering them over the the safety of the ditch. You could almost hear her scolding, "Will you get to the &^%(ing side of the road already!!??"elphabahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16449363902940989434noreply@blogger.com
