Go figure.

I write nothing for days except an oblique post about The Cave, and today my hits are way up.

Why doesn't anyone read it when I actually have something to say?

So... would you mind explaining the "cave" post?

For all of us who are dying to know what in the world you are talking about.

There's a fine line between "cake" and "cave," Robbie -- and that line is a consonant. Come on, girlfriday, let him eat cake!!

Robbie: Yes, keep it up. We will shame our food blogger into returning to the blog.

Mist: It was a lame reference to The Republic. We are all confined, in one way or another, to stories we are told and the way the storyteller tells them. There are myths that we believe, but we mistake them for absolute truth. We may be convinced, for example, that a state-associated church is of the devil. The Church of Scotland will naturally see it differently.

The problem is, we can't often see what particular myths we believe or why they're myths instead of truth.

Or maybe I didn't understand Plato.
