Spoiler: if you haven't watched American Idol yet, don't read this.

Are you freaking kidding me, America?

Michael Johns????

YOU SENT HOME MICHAEL JOHNS?!?!

My friend's e-mail pretty much sums up my thoughts, or lack of them, because this just doesn't compute:

"Michael Johns?! What the *$%#@?!!???

I can hardly talk...I am in shock."

I wasn't even this disappointed when I threw my water bottle at my TV when Chris Daughtry was eliminated.

This is what happens when you don't vote.

Honestly, you know what I think happened? America forgot to vote for him because they thought he was safe. They were busy voting for their fav who they thought might be in trouble (Carly, Syesha, even Jason or Brooke).

It's just like the wise Ryan Seacrest reminds us week after week: No one is safe.

Why don't I listen? When will I ever learn?!? I really think the only solution is for me to switch to AT&T, or whatever wireless company it is that they're in bed with, so I can text my vote in.

He was also in trouble because he went first. Everyone forgets the people who go first. He'll hopefully get a record deal though. He's not as talented as Chris Daughtry, but he's much prettier.

Boo America! Oh wait -- if we turn against America, the terrorists have won!

It is a travesty, though. There's one every season. This is exactly why we have electoral colleges in this country -- people cannot be trusted with all-out democracy :)

But shouldn't we also mention the unbelievable moment where the contestants on the most watched TV show in America (I think) sang "Shout to the Lord" for their Savior, Jesus Christ? Now that was a moment.
