Gmail is Watching You

Ms. Neidlinger and I have been emailing about the debate that's sweeping the Internet: Skirts v. Pants!

In the email compose mode, Gmail is pushing advertising relevant to our conversation. Am I the only one who thinks this is strange? Here are some examples:

I love your logo thingy on the upper right, with the "better late than never" quote and pic, however did you create/get such a cool thing? (Ok I know you are prone to cool things, this I have observed, but apart from attracting nifty stuff to yourself, do tell?)
Cheers, Susan

I read a little bit of the raging debate. Hmm. Tell you what -- let's get a handle on the "juicy" tatoos visible just over a girl's (very low) waistband, and THEN we'll worry about WWMW (what would Mary wear?) Seriously folks . . . I think I dress modestly in my trousers, and modesty is the name of the game I think. Modesty is what makes a wife respect a husband, for example, as in not thinking I'm right all the time.

Here's what's funny: I don't even have pierced ears.

Regarding tattoos, I used to, when I was a kid, draw a smiley face on the circular birthmark on my pinkie toe. I'd do it all summer so I could have "happy feet." That's as close as I've come.

It's all so crazy, just thinking about it now.

Susan: I admit to using graphic design tools that are almost prehistoric. It's basically clip art with my additions and the ability to export as a jpeg.

It's not much, but if you want something similar I'm happy to give it a whirl.

Hope you're feeling better.
