Nature Shows
Is there such a thing as a nature show that doesn't paint humans as the great white devil? I actually really like to watch these shows for my own personal enjoyment and because they are interesting to a five year old and you don't have to cover their eyes or shoo them from the room. But they are always laced with so much animosity towards humans that I find myself having to deprogram my five year old after each viewing.
Right wing rant aside, did anyone know that, while it was once thought that ne'er the twain should meet, a few years ago, DNA tests on a dead white bear that had brown markings, found that it had one polar bear parent and one grizzly bear parent. Saw that on "Arctic Bears" on PBS the other day.
