Better Late than Never
I don't want a single reader of girlfriday (insert self effacing remark about "all three of you") to miss this. I'm sure most of you have seen it and laughed your ever-loving butt off (and maybe cried a little) but just in case, as a courtesy to you who may have missed it (DAD), take a look.
"Rob Riggle goes undercover to report on Berkeley, CA's reaction to a new Marine recruiting station."
Read the comments on The Daily Show's website if you had any doubt about which direction Stewart's viewers swing.

"The marines, we don't need to be worrying about their rights, its not an equal relationship!"
"Violence on our streets would stop if we didn't have weapons."
Classic. But the best, "If only there was a group sworn to protect those rights?"

I am so glad you posted this, gf. I about fell out of my chair when I first saw this. I also love that Stewart has an ex-Marine on the show.

This is the best thing I've seen in a long time...and not just on Stewart's show :)

Padre, I completely agree: "If only there was a group sworn to protect those rights?" That is comedy, people. Unblinking mockery, deadly force, uncanny subtlety.

Fortunately, I did not laugh my butt off, but my wife and I did have a hearty laugh. And why the comment about me, that I probably hadn't seen it. I've actually seen portions of the Daily show 2 or 3 times. Dad Friday.
