Isn't it supposed to be blue?
Either way, it's dead. My screen currently reads:

Well, I've known for a while that my registery was corrupted. Haven't been able to delete programs from Add/Remove Programs in the control panel. But I didn't think it would go this far.
I wonder...do computer repairmen keep copies of various boot disks for different kinds of computers? I have the Windows XP disk, but not the original boot disk, since the computer was a gift.
