This is a First
We just returned from dinner and a movie.
At the stop light, while we waited for an endless train, I glanced at the temperature gauge:
-2.
I let that sink in for a half a moment, then said, "Negative Two. I think this is the first time I've ever been in negative two weather."

You mean a Boise winter! We have fake winter here. I walk through Boise State, it's 40-something and there are students wearing flip-flops. Flip-flops! In December. I don't know what to think of that yet.
I must say, what a great experience. -2 degrees. I would like to feel that just to say I did.

Yes, exactly. A Boise winter, which feels more like a Seattle winter most of the time.
Though we did see a dude walking out of the store wearing shorts the other day. Well, I kinda saw him, between the slits created by the wool turban wrapped around my head.

So jealous. I am just now listening to Christmas music. The almost 80 degree weather we've been having has not engendered Christmas music listening and other festive activities like drinking cider or sitting by the fireside.
