It can be done!

It is actually possible - and believe me I didn't think it was - to sort, stain-spot, wash, dry, fold and put away seven loads of laundry in one day, without doing it at a laundry mat! Not EVEN a day - like six hours! Until today, I just figured that 5 days was the norm.

You're an inspiration to us all, JEB! I'm glad that you spelled out the multi-step process that is THE LAUNDRY. The easy part is the actual washing of the clothes. It is the sorting, spot removing, folding and putting away that sucks the soul out of you.
I have my laundry in front of me today. I'm not sure I'll be able to reach JEB levels of accomplishment, but I will try.

Seriously, JEB, you're my hero. I have already decided that should I marry, hiring someone to come fold and put away our laundry every week (especially once kids are in the picture) will be mandatory. I will gladly forgo any luxury to pay for that service. Laundry, much like I-35, is the devil.

Dear Molly:
I will do your laundry for the rest of your LIFE if you figure out a way for me never to have to get on I-35 again.
Sincerely,
Friday (of the DFW variety)

Friday, you are a fellow Texan? How exciting! There are three things my brother said I should know before moving to Texas:

1) The Cowboys lost their soul once Landry left (or at least something to that effect)

2) Major Applewhite just knows how to win games

3) I-35 is the devil.

...It really, really is. I will work on abolishing it for you.

I have so figured that out! It was about 3 years ago. Of course I have three kids and at the time, I was a karate instructor and lived in a 2 bedroom apartment!

I don't mind laundry, but I'll clean your baseboards with a toothbrush if you'll do my dishes for me.
