America got it wrong.

Again.

I say this every year about some contestant, and it rarely comes true, but I will definitely buy Carly Smithson's CD. I think the fact that I have her first album (and love it!) makes the promise slightly more believable this time around.

She'll be this year's Daughtry. Methinks her singing career is far from over.

I wonder if she would have sang the Phantom song if that would have made a difference?
I hope she is this year's Daughtry. I really do.
Clearly, everyone has their favorites that they are voting for no matter what the performances are like.

Additionally, they shouldn't even worry about counting the votes next week. Syesha and Brooke shouldn't even bother performing, voters are pissed at themselves, and they will vote with vindication. One of those girls is toast.

Oh, and next week it's all Neil Diamond.

I think I just threw up in my mouth.

Maybe Diamond will actually give some constructive criticism like Andrew Lloyd Weber did instead of kisses and hugs like Dolly and Mariah.

Also, you're right. Carly should be there. So should Chikesie and Micheal Johns, but it's like this every year.
