Her Father's Daughter

I love that my sister linked her blog and Father's Day by acknowledging his role in introducing her to old time radio. Now that she brings it up, it's a pretty sweet memory.

And those Suspense episodes were really, really creepy.

Thanks, pops, for bringing so much fun into our lives and teaching us a love of the old.

Happy Father's Day.

Thanks for sharing your sisters blog link and that memory you have. I have similar one's with my late father who always called me "mcgee" when we'd go bike riding (we had special travel names, he was smokey) I learned to love the old timey radio sneaking my old transistor radio under the covers and tuning in the Lux Mystery theater and other shows that would be broadcast on AM radio. Those were really creepy too!
