Oh go ahead and brag! I would! Remind him, however, that the vaunted Reagan had no Washington experience. And frankly, as someone who worked on Capitol Hill for over 8 years (as a peon I admit), I'd say it probably works in your favor NOT to have been there because you won't owe anyone anything. I realize politics is, well, politics, but it is helpful not to have hobnobbed in the good-ole boy network if you want to buck it. McCain is the odd duck who spits in the face of his bread-throwers; but when you've spit in the face of men who yank your arms backwards up over your head for hours at a time, I'd say a wealthy, pithy Senator or two is like water off, um, a duck's back.

I swear, everyone I know is having newborns. Here in Sandpoint, there have been four (from three women) in about the last two months.
