"ALPHABET SHIFTING 'ANATOMY'

'Grey's Anatomy' is heading to Thursdays.

As expected, Alphabet web will become a major Thursday night force this fall when it moves mega hit 'Grey's Anatomy' into the 9 pm hour - a move pitting the sudser against CBS' 'CSI' and, for now, NBC's new Aaron Sorkin drama 'Studio 60.'"

this is bad news for Studio 60--esp as most peopel figured Grey's was going to Monday's gaping hole (apparently, anyway, I couldn't have cared less). But as a raving fan of Sorkin and just about everyone attached to Studio 60, and so a expectant fan of this show, I'm hoping NBC shifts things a bit.

To be honest I don't even know what Studio 60 is!

And that you are a Sorkin fan surprises me a bit.

"Studio 60" looks awesome. Two words: Matthew Perry. Yeah, buddy. He and Bradley Whitford (of "West Wing" fame) are the directors (?) of a Saturday Night Live-esque show, and Amanda Peete is the producer. It will be nice seeing her on network television, because she won't be able to have any nude scenes. Looks good. For as big of a leftie that Aaron Sorking can be, he's an amazing writer, and I'm stoked about this show.

Are you kidding me? How could I not be a Sorkin fan? 'Cuz he's a whacked-out lefty? eh, who isn't? Anyone, anyone who can write dialogue like that man can, can count me as a fan. If Hillary C herself was responsible for "Rebecca" or "The Quality of Mercy at 29K" I'd be tempted to vote for her.

I don't know how many times I've watched some every episode of Sports Night. His West Wing stuff was pretty good, too--don't get me wrong.

But his ability to catch the goings on in and around a TV show strikes me as close to reality as possible (not that I have any idea what that would really be...).

NBC's new line-up looks fresh and, well, good for once in a very long time. I'm a little disappointed "Invasion" wasn't on ABC's fall list as of yet. And even though I'm a fan of neither, it will be interesting to see a "CSI" vs. "Grey's" rivalry.

Why is no one mentioning the fact that the O.C. will rival these two shows? I mean, come on, that show is goooooood, and not at all repetitive. Yeah, it sucks, but I'll still watch it over the other two shows.
